The farmstay features a stand-alone cabin on our beautiful blueberry farm with magnificent views of the Green Mountains. It is an isolated rural setting yet minutes away from the charming village of Johnson, Vt, located between the ski and recreation hubs of Stowe and Smugglers’ Notch.

The farmstay is unique because although we are minutes from Main Street Johnson and other amenities, the cabin is off the beaten track, nestled uphill past several farm fields and tracks of woods. The cabin is quiet, clean, cozy– the perfect farmstay getaway.   While standalone, the cabin is part of our off-the-grid homestead and farm. We welcome guests to tread lightly on the land and experience an eco-friendly travel alternative.

The cabin features a double bed and a set of twin bunkbeds, and bathroom with a shower.   The cabin has a cheerful decor, abundant natural daylight and south-facing views of beautiful Mount Sterling. A Rinnai heater and down comforter will keep you cozy on the coldest of Northern Vermont nights.  In summertime you can keep the windows wide open, the air up here is always pure and fresh.

While we don’t provide meals or have cooking facilities for guests, the cabin is minutes away from main street Johnson with cafes and restaurants. Foote Brook Farm store is right across the street, with its awesome selection (open summer and fall) of locally produced farm products and organic produce, while Johnson’s Sterling Market with its wide selection of typical staples and great local/regional food is also minutes away.  There is a picnic-style cooler in the room for your use if you want to store your food and/or drinks.
